Add more desktop support?

I know the current set of ATi drivers do not support desktop GPUS earler then the 9500 Series, and the mod adds support for notebook chipsets that are alot older/slower, does it work, or support 9250 and other desktop gpus that are not supported in the newer ati releases?

System Specs

No those are not supported. The program is only made for mobility chipsets. I will have a look if i can and will add support for old desktop gpus.

Default Post Re: Add more desktop support?

Some support for older desktop cards would be very welcome.
XP SP3 broke 'rotation' for me and a few million others.
Turns out to be ATI at fault. (Not Microsoft just this once.)
XP SP3 was not recognised as newer than XP SP2 !!!
ATI fixed it for Catalyst ~ 8.5 onward.
They left the rest of us to sink.

If you google ati rotation XP SP3 you get >13000 hits. So I am not alone.
All of us with older cards would be grateful if something could be done.

(Or should I bin all my 9250 DVI+vivo cards, curse a lot and buy nVidia ?)

Thanks for even reading this.
