click on the paypal. the next page will give you the option of CC or paypal.

Yeah cool- I just saw the paypal button and assumed it was paypal only.

I ordered my license, it was $6.12 US... Now I just hope a new version doesn't come out in 2 months! LOL..

Guys the way this is going to work, you order, and ruud will email you a download link, a code and a file to activate the program. it might take him a few hours if he is around or it might take a few days if he isnt. the 3-4 days thing is to cover us if he is busy for a while.

As for buying a future version of platinum, this license covers all future updates so that wont happen. Also as for posting your email in a thread, this is very simple.

if you have a question about the application and using it, you start a new thread in this priority support forum and you give your email address in the thread, this is to ensure you are a legal owner of the software. if you are wary of spiders then put something like steveSPAM@blah.com so spiders cant get them.

Any technical questions Spike can deal with those.

Recieved quickly and everything intact.....Only snag was it looked like the liscence.lic file was not going to be accepted,eventually did after 6 or 7 attempts.

Probably because you hadnt entered everything into all the fields beforehand, even where it says business "none". a common mistake.

For the installer i use NSIS. It is a script. You write the script for the installer and then the NSIS program compiles it togheter. It supports silent install, but i am not sure about the icons. Will look into that.

I left my e-mail open and went to bed, I got the e-mail at 3:45AM so it did not take that long at all. Then I got another email today with some other info- then I downloaded it. Going to attempt to install it now.

Driver Cleaner PE doesn't start on my computer. Nothing happens when I open it. Log folder is empty.

Specs:

Opty 165
A8N32SLI
2GB RAM
WinXP sp2

VB runtime didn't do anything. Driver Cleaner Pro works okay, but I uninstalled it.

thx z. already got it fugured out & installed. good heads up for us slow ones

at least for me, support has never been an issue with these, wich is one of many reasons i like spikes prog so much.
now if he could just figure a way to do it with every other bit of software out there...

Alrighty, I just paid Paypal and got their receipt by email. I'm awaiting the email's with the download info, etc.

You sure I need to post my email address here for questions, support, etc? Can't you just get that stuff from my driverheaven.net account? I get enough spam as it is.

It's pretty easy for anyone wanting to email me something I'd rather not receive once I put my email on a public forum. Even with SPAM added to the address, etc.

I'm happy to support the development, but I'm just not going to do this.

I guess I'll just have to ask questions in the Pro forum if I have a problem.

I'd suggest that this procedure is rather faulty. Please change if possible.

Its an imperfect world and its the most convenient manner to get premium support in a dedicated forum. if you dont want to include your email address then put a mixture of letters before your proper email address. spiders CANNOT filter those out. example your email address is john@yahoo.com, enter in nospamjohn@yahoo.com or johnDH@yahoo.com. Abusers dont go around forums looking manually for email addresses it is much too time consuming.

If this isnt acceptable then yes please feel free to post your query in the ordinary forum but it wont get answered as fast. thats why this is a priority support forum.

Just got my link and serial. Getting a new board shortly so I think I'll be using the new Platinum on it.

Interesting that on another thread in the Radeon driver forum ATI tech's recommended a user use DriverCleaner in between installing different driver sets. They know a good thing when they see one, eh?

Cool additions to the program would be filters for M-Audio cards like the Revo series and perhaps SoundMAX stuff.

Love the program and these forums! Wish I weren't so freak'n financially challenged or I would have donated already.
