Can't install nvidia after clean

Hi there,

I did a clean of my nvidia graphics driver without unistalling it in normal mode by mistake. I then uninstalled it and cleaned in safe mode.

Using Vista 32

I then tried to install the 169.09 video driver for my 8800GTX card. It seemed to install normally but then when restarted it is not installed

I run a Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 mobo.
I do have a restore point prior to the changes made by the cleaner if that is a help

I am not allowed to post attachments to send log

Regards

Neville

Hi,

the best you can do is use the restore point before the cleaning and then try it again by following the steps. Then it should work and you can install the driver.

I had that problem too.. Just go in Safe Mode in Windows Vistas, and Install Driver "version 163.75"

Now go to Normal Mode, and install latest Beta
