Steelseries 7G Keyboard review @ DH

Read The Review Here
_________________________

At around £90 the Steelseries 7G is a considerable investment and gamers will be wondering why they should invest in such a basic outward design when other companies offer cheaper products packed with useful features such as macro functionality and backlit keys. In our review we’re going to take a look at the 7G and find out what sets it apart from other products.

Another nice review Nathan I wanted to read this before work but ran out of time and fighting a cold lol.

It is in a higher price range but gold plated switches and contacts do last longer and work well. Might be a bit more than I want to spend on a gaming keyboard my OCZ Alchemy Elixir is working fine for this old fart ATM

But I stress again as mentioned in the article and I think I have said this recently on another thread .. you get what you pay for and there is a reason for it!

Yeah it seems to be that time of year! lots of people feeling under the weather unfortunately. The keyboard is absolutely lovely and if you get the chance to try one it might just sway you into opening the wallet!

Yep tis the season Nathan and on the keyboard will keep it in mind. This one I have is decent but I want something really good that will last and don't mind spending the money when I have it.

Re: Steelseries 7G Keyboard review @ DH

Best keyboard I have ever used. Have had mine for ~ 6 months now and everytime I have to type on some other keyboard I feel almost disgusted on how sloppy the keys feel. I do not game with it however as I have got used to to the Wolf King Timberwolf and it is too hard to go back now. But for typing there is nothing else that comes even close.

Well that's Nathan, Lowfat and Z so sold here

On my list of priorities of stuff I have to buy right now ...

1) DDR3 ram I ordered to test a mobo here before Christmas (calling Canada Computers tomorrow )

2) An AMD CPU for an SLI mobo I have here the new Phenom black reviewed here is looking like a possibility.

3) New keyboard

4) Larger monitor (24 inch min)

5) A second HD4870 for CrossfireX

6) Laptop for the cottage in the summer (time on that one)
