In Win Commander 1200W PSU Review @ Driverheaven
Read The Review Here
__________________________ In Win were established back in 1986 and they never tried to diversify beyond designing and building computer cases. Merely a few months ago the company released a long line of high performance PSUs, the Commander series. This Commander series consists of five units, starting at 650W output and reaching up to 1500W for the high end model. Today we look at the 1200W model. |

Re: In Win Commander 1200W PSU Review @ Driverheaven
Nice review and solid looking PSU. I really like modular PSU's I have a Corsair HX-520 here and it really cleans up the case by removing unused cables.
Just as a trend for how things are going when I purchased that PSU a year and a half ago it had plenty under the hood for my hardware. As far as I see it today with cards like the HD4xxx series 800W is pretty much becoming the norm and this one would be a smart purchase for today and down the road a bit.

Re: In Win Commander 1200W PSU Review @ Driverheaven
In Win did make 250, 300, 350 and 410W PSU's I believe with "Power-Man" as the series. I found them to be the only "cheapie" I would trust. My first case and Build was a Socket A Board and a In Win Q-500 case with a 300 PSU. The PSU was replaced with a 350W Powerman when I upgraded to a Radeon 9500 Pro and thought I needed more power. Looking around the room I see five In-Win cases and I gave away at least three more.
Nice review and certainly a good PSU. I am not a big modular fan, but I can live with them now. My real gripe is the Intel ordained multi-rail design. I would prefer a large single +12V rail.
