Novatech X80r Pro Laptop Review @ DH
Read The Review Here
___________________________
When it comes to performance laptops or desktop replacements there are a few manufacturers who immediately come to mind, Dell, Alienware and Voodoo PC to name a few. Although these manufacturers have impressive machines they tend to also come with very high prices which will be out of the reach of most consumers. Luckily they are not the only high specification system makers and with a bit of shopping around it is possible to find machines with similar performance at a more reasonable price.
Recently while researching laptop prices we found Novatech’s own branded laptops which feature some impressive components but retail at a level we can only wish Alienware would use! Of course buying a laptop from a relative unknown is always a risk, so today we will be taking an in-depth look at the X80r Pro, covering all the bases and letting you know if they are worth your money.

The pedigree is clear, it's a Clevo M57RU, the Clevo name can be seen in the underside picture.
*OFFICIAL* Clevo M57ru FAQ & Owners Lounge - Notebook Forums and Laptop Discussion
So, anything good or bad said about the Clevo model or one of it's other rebrands, also applies to this one. Until the Dell tie-up, Alienware laptops were tarted-up Clevo's, which shows that Clevo DO know how to build a performance laptop.

I love the orange trim. I love orange.
Good review.
Yesterday I ordered the Kobalt Nexus, a 15.4" Clevo notebook.
Love reading notebook reviews. (hint, hint, wink, wink)

Scratch that, I am cancelling my order and going for something cheaper.
technozombie, try custom laptops - XOTIC PC - custom notebooks - gaming laptops - gaming notebooks or Sager Electronics - Electronic Component Distributor for USA models.
