Everyone would love to have the best graphics card available but to most people they are non-essential luxuries. For this reason the average consumer looks more to the midrange or budget market and so today in the first of a two part article we will be looking at some of the Nvidia cards that are on offer in the £70-£150 ($120-$190) range to demonstrate how much performance each provides. In the near future we will be following up with a look at cards in the £30-£70 range.

Inno has been using some different probes on some on their cards. One of my friends got a 8800gt from them which has a different probe, then the normal probe on 8800gt cards (and my inno 8800gt). So he couldn't read the temperature the normal way, through the drivers. It it possible though to read the temps via some plugin for rivatuner, but it's still a shitty solution, because the drivers cant control the fan properly, if they can't read the temperature.
It might be the same probe config with your Inno3D 9600 GSO, as i noticed you wrote there isn't a probe on the Inno3D 9600 GSO card.

HI, we've tried Riva, GPUz, Everest and a few others without any luck. We also emailed Inno a few days ago but have yet to receive a response but our overall feeling with this particular model is that because it is a budget card they have cut a cost by removing the temp sensor. If we get any further info from Inno the article will be updated.
As for fan control, on this model we were extremely impressed by the noise level generated and whilst it is not as flexible as some GSO's it is a great option for someone who just wants to install the card and not worry about tweaking.

Your BFG 8800 GT OCX-TI sample seems to be very good, 785/1105 are quite decent clocks, mine does not seem to perform that well in terms of overclocking as it cannot go above 740/1050, nothing to write home about. I also noticed that your card has a different BIOS than mine, where your card reads 62.92.43.00.06 mine reads 62.92.24.00.04.
