DH Review: Alienware m15x Laptop
Read The Review Here
________________________
Alienware have always produced some of the sleekist sexiest laptops known to geekdom and with their latest M15x this tradition is set to continue. There is no doubt in my mind by looking at the sensual curves of the Alienware that they have crafted something rather special.

I might actually pick one of these up. not with an EE processor but something more affordable.
Nice review, thanks, hell of a pretty laptop, glad they sorted out the issues with the UK market as well. Sometimes I guess getting things first in the USA isnt the best thing !

Funny thing. My friend had one of these laptops in America and he was over and the cpu would sit at 90c and throttling would cause it to lock up.
I heard they upgraded the cooling in the laptop when it hit the UK after the research and thankfully it seems to be paying off.
I dont know anyone who would think this is an ugly laptop, maybe all the glowing lights would put some off, but its cool they can be disabled if you want.

The m15x I just put together cost a whopping £1,958.73.
Just wish I could afford it and was able to press the 'buy' button lol
Nice review by the way.

I am a long time reader but not often poster.
just wanted to thank you for the review, not because I am going to buy one, but because I already have one and im tired reading the anti M15x posts on various sites. The problems all occured with early US versions (sorry to those people), but the new ones are awesome.
I sold my desktop system because this laptop is so good. it can handle everything. I run mine to a Dell 24 inch screen and run in dual mode in the house and then can carry the laptop to friends for gaming sessions across the lan.
It is lovely, although I find only one problem, and thats the lid can sometimes groan a bit as you open it.

I think this is the only laptop that looks nicer than a Macintosh. and thats saying something.
I want one, and ive been saving a long time for one. Just need another few more weeks before I can get the spec of my dreams.
Thanks DriverHeaven for such a great review, what a beautiful machine that is.
