DH Review: MSI GX600 Laptop

Read The Review Here

MSI have long been known for their motherboards and graphics cards but more recently we have seen them come up with some unique features which set them apart from other manufacturers. Their Stirling engine based Northbridge heatsink (fan that uses heat and pressure to power itself, no electricity from a fan header) is a prime example of some great out of the box thinking.

In addition to this MSI have been enhancing products by adding components such as X-Fi soundcards to their high end motherboard bundles, but the great user focused ideas do not stop there. The recent launch of the GX laptop range gives us a high specification laptop with some excellent features (HDMI) and the ability to overclock at the touch of a button. Let’s find out if it is as good as the marketing makes out.

System Specs

So anyone have any pros or cons for this one or any MSI laptop's in general?

I was looking around and

They have a lot that seem decent with a good price?

mmmmmmmmm
me like!!!!!

not really a gamer and this would solidly meet my needs...
but alas..
I bought the new Toshiba A305 satellite and it is a gem, love the keyboard because it is easy on my hand and the overall feel and beauty of it is tactilly rewarding, nothing from the MSI offering, if I had seen it on the shelf when I went into to get some Blueray machine (which I turned down) then I would have jumped at it regardless of price.
Good Review Stewart and Allan, again I am pleased, much better than the rubbish at other sites and aesthitically more pleasing than some sites that will go unmentioned.
