DH Review: Coolit Freezone Elite and Pure CPU Coolers

Read The Review Here
_______________________

Let’s be honest, CPU coolers are not usually the most exciting product in the world. We all need one, or two, and the quieter the better. Many users also want to ensure that the performance of their cooler allows them to reduce the CPU temperature as much as possible and maybe even dabble in some overclocking without risking the processors long term health.

There are of course enthusiast users who want to get as much performance as possible out of their components and for that they require some serious cooling. These are exactly the users that CoolIT are targeting with their pre-plumbed and factory sealed Freezone Elite which makes use of maintenance refrigerated liquid. For the beginner enthusiast or more price conscious user the Pure CPU cooler shares many of the same components as the Elite and we will be taking a look at both products today.

On the conclusion page, first paragraph. It didn't win an award.

Do you by chance have the bios settings you used to get the 4.0 stable with that config (I am currently struggling to get a config very similar to that fully stable)? Also, I am guessing from the DRAM voltage that you used 4x DIMMs? Thanks. Appreciate the review too, btw.

I'm afraid the system has long been dismantled as i moved on to other articles so i dont have the exact settings. It was basically 450x9 with 1.4v on the CPU. The memory was at stock volts for those sticks as were the other voltages. The P5E3 Premium really doesn't need a lot of tweaking to get a X9770 stable at 4.0ghz.
