DH Review: Akasa PowerMax 1000W PSU

Read The Review Here
__________________________

We reviewed several very powerful units during the past few months from various companies. Today we will take a look at another very powerful 1kW PSU designed and built by Akasa, the PowerMax 1000W. The PowerMax 1000W is the first 1kW+ unit Akasa have released and there is also a 850W model.

The PowerMax 1000W unit promises high power output, low noise operation and high efficiency in one unit.

It is all in the review.

Nobody actually manufactures their own units, the factories are all located in China and Taiwan. Each company only designs their unit (or buys a design) and supervises a production line. I am not aware of any company which actually owns their own factory.

I'm not aware that Enerman owns the factory. I believe that those two companies also only supervise their own production lines. I think that Seasonic actually owns the factory their units are being built at, but they produce units for many other companies as well. Actually they produce about 700.000 units per month in that factory alone, I don't think anybody believes those are all seasonic units.

Yeah Seasonic is one of the biggest PSU makers in this planet. They do a lot of OEM and build PSU's for others too

enermax makes their own psus. not sure if they produce all their own units. seasonic mostly makes for other brands but does sell some under their own label. their is another company out there that makes their own(dont know if it is some or all) psus but damned if i can remember it.
but essentially you are correct. the majority(by far) of psu are made by somebody other than the name on the label.
& thx again for great review!
