LG had some absolutely gorgeous 1080p plasma and LCD screens on show, however if a 50 inch screen just doesn't cut it, then you will like the 150inch model that Panasonic had on display.

The 4000 pixel resolution quality was simply incredible and was attracting a large group of admirers. Check out the size of the person in the image (right) for a clear indiction of the gargantuan size of this beast !

The Supertalent display was rather disappointing with the usual plethora of boring Mp3 and flash drives on show, however the 128GB flash drive was a welcome addition.

We enjoyed the Coolit stand, they were displaying their forthcoming cooling products for both Nvidia and ATI video cards. Even with early test models, we were informed that a hot running card such as the 8800 GTX was attaining full load temperatures around 50c, a substantial improvement over the reference cooling systems.

Enermax normally put a good range of products up for display and we were not disappointed. We found their new range of fans very impressive, with the new batwing blades aiming to lower noise levels while increasing airflow by up to 30%. You can see in the image below right that these blades are indeed designed in a rather unusual way. Their new Twister bearing is also another key development with over 100,000 hours life, a substantial improvement over previous technologies.

In the image above you can see Enermax's new proprietary laptop cooler. Instead of the standard 2x90mm fan configuration we have a massive fan comprising the whole size of the chassis. Sure to be popular product with hard core laptop gamers.

Lian Li had several very attractive custom designed ATI crossfire cases as the centerpiece to their rather small CES stand.
