FS: Raidmax Samurai 901 XE (Modified)

Hey everyone, since I guess I look like a bit of a newb on this account, let me introduce myself. I'm Ehecu, a regular over at Guru3D and huge gaming/hardware enthusiast. Here's a link to this identical thread over there so you can see my post count and rest assured, I'm someone you can trust to buy from - http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=163487

In any case, I'm here today selling my old gaming case, a Raidmax Samurai 901 XE, with some minor modifications. Specs are as follows...

+ 0.8 mm SECC chassis with plastic molding
+ Shiny "Show Car Quality" paint job (black)
+ Wicked cool styling ("reminiscent of something from Alienware" - Big Bruin)
+ Clear side panel window
+ No tools required for bay, expansion card, or exhaust fan install
+ 2x USB 2.0 + audio ports on front panel (hidden)
+ 5x 5.25" bays, 5x3.5" bays (2 external, 3 internal)
+ 9" x 20" x 22" (WxHxD)
+ Cooling
- Intake (front): 120mm Raidmax blue LED fan
- Intake (side): 120mm CoolerMaster blue LED fan
- Exhaust (rear): 120mm Raidmax temperature-controlled fan
+ Mods
- 120mm hole drilled in side panel for LED intake fan
+ Extras
- 1x Raidmax 450w power supply w/ dual 80mm fans
- 1x 120mm CoolerMaster blue LED fan (pre-installed on side panel)
+ Damage
- None!
+ Resources
Please note that many reviews are of the 908, not the 901 XE you are purchasing, so pictures may lack the side panel window. Rest assured, this case does include that window.

Overall the case is in great condition. There are absolutely no scratches on the paint job and the interior is as sturdy as the day I bought it, contrary to what some user reviews may point out. I dunno if these people are running into battle with this thing or what, but I haven't had a single issue with breaking plastic or flaky paint and I've been a proud owner since March 7, 2005. The cooling system both effective and nearly silent and the design offers a lot of potential for slick lighting effects.

Price reduced to $70!
Considering trades for high-end CPU/VGA coolers.

Well I do agree with some of them on the PSU - It's not exactly high-end, though it did power my system fine and crash-free for about 3 months, so if you're in a transition, it's still a decent unit. As for the size and weight... Well, it is! But that just means better airflow (much better than most mid-towers) and tougher construction. As for the chipping plastic, like I said in my opening post, I haven't experienced any of that and I've been in and out and rebuilding the thing for 9 months, plus LAN parties in between. You should be fine, though I do suggest a strap if you attend a lot of LAN parties, as with any steel case.

Thanks for posting! If you have any other questions or comments, feel free to e-mail me at ehecu.xc@gmail.com and I'll get back to you as soon as possible
