FS: Enlight 420W PSU

  • Enlight 420W PSU - !SOLD! $28 !SOLD!

A solid little unit with enough muscle to power any socket A system you could throw at it. It even meets the typical Athlon 64 minimum recommendations which is at least a single 18A +12V rail. This is a dual fan unit with a 20-pin ATX plug. Lord knows how but I still have the retail box for this part so you'll get it in that. I'll also include the nifty little cable management kit I got from a retail Seasonic PSU to sweeten the deal. The rails are rated as follows:

    +3.3V 30A, +5V 40A, +12V 18A, -5V 0.3A, -12V 0.8A, +5VSB 2A

  • BFG RNF4U Motherboard (nForce4/s939) - !SOLD! $80 !SOLD!

BFG's first and only motherboard thus far. This board can keep up with any midrange s939 enthusiast board perfectly well. It ran my Opteron 146 to the same speeds my Ultra-D has it at and that without all the extra power plugs and annoying memory tweaking that the Ultra-D requires for stability with my RAM.

Notice that the layout is a bit different than your typical s939 board mostly in a good way. The single video card slot is a healthy distance away from the CPU socket and the entire board is far narrower than a standard part. This is good if you've got a case where the drives usually cramp your motherboard's style. It's so narrow in fact, it doesn't even use the outer 3 screws. Also note the no nonsense chipset cooler which is obviously intended to cool the chipset without worrying about looking cool or spelling the name of the board maker.

Other positives include: The back plate is rigid and even has labels for all the plugs (imagine that a non half ass back plate?). The board comes with a little bag of thermal paste! That is something I've never seen before. IDE & SATA location is excellent. Comes with copies of "Roxio Easy Media Creator: Basic VCD" & "InterVideo WinCinema" don't ask my what these apps do specificaly but its probably less interesting than the names make them sound. It has in BIOS options for running your RAM faster than your HTT which is not something you see in many BIOS'. Review @ hardocp.

  • 2 x 512 PC3200 GEIL Golden Dragon - !SOLD! $70 !SOLD!

The first thing I'm sure you noticed about these sticks is their avant-garde design. I left the picture nice and big so you could get a good look at them. Yes, those little silver rectangles are BGA DDR chips. No, I'd never seen anything like that before either. Yes, the "heatspreader" you see there is actually a plastic heat insulator. Yes, they're gold and designed to have a Chinese dragon aesthetic to them including the little dragon head in the upper left and in the hologram.

I have kept the heat insulators intact in order to preserve the lifetime warranty. These sticks are rated for and test ok at 1T 2.5-4-4-8. In preparation for this sale I tested their overclocking potential and ended up here. That is at 1T of course. My testing was done on a DFI Nforce2 Ultra Infinity. What you max out to might be different. This is especially true with RAM since there are many other timings involved that different boards will set differently. These other timings may or may not affect how low you can go with rated timings. Overall I don't think these are bad results for a set of PC3200 that was manufactured in February of 2002. Thanks for reading

  • The prices includes shipping to the lower 48 states. Shipping to Canada, Alaska or Hawaii will cost a few more bucks. If you live elsewhere in the world, we can discuss it so feel free to PM me.
  • I prefer USPS Money Order for payment but take non credit card Paypal as well.
  • NO TRADES
