Alright I'm giving the DH people first dibs. I have an IBM thinkpad 600x here. Pentium 3 500mhz with 320mb of Ram. It does internet really well, runs XP beautifully even on 128mb of ram. I also use to run Linux on it. Its also worth mentioning that it has probably the BEST laptop speakers I have ever had the pleasure of using in my life. They wont be as good as your awesome 5.1 system on the desktop but they will NEVER annoy you when listening to music on them. Oh yeah and I installed a DVD drive in it so that you can watch movies on the thing.

But there are a few minor problems

1) battery life isnt so good
2) It claims to have 3d acceleration. its a lie. Dont plan on playing many games on it (though Diablo 2 and Starcraft ran really nicely on it)

I'm asking for $270 for it plus shipping. Preferably as a cashiers check or money order (or you know something secure like that)
