scarecrow1f9 DriverHeaven Newbie Join Date: Sep 2004 Posts: 7	Looking for 9800 SMC / 9800 Pro / 5900 Looking for either a softmod compatible 9800 (to 9800 pro), 9800 Pro, or 5900 (Pref not chaintech). Yes I know newegg among others sells the 9800 with L shaped chips which usually are softmod compatible.... but it's not a sure science. A friend purchased one of the cards in question and got one that wouldn't agree with the mod. scare
