I think that the BFG OC GT is a bit more expensive than other GTs

exactly. the bfg 6800GT comes pre-overclocked giving it that extra performance boost and it has better cooling then the vanilla 6800 GT also as a plus it can be pushed ( i read this in a review somewhere ) almost another 20mhz above the set overclock. I'd say its worth the extra 10-15 dollars.

Plus their warranty protects additional overclocking, so if it dies you can RMA it legally, etc.

what happened to no thread crapping, I think all questions on price should be dealt privately or be criticized a little lighter... not asking where the deal is.

?????? still want to know what thread crapping is ?
if it means not informing people in this forum not to do their research on price/info on a given item then you are way off base. imo..
otherwise a definition would be nice because it has a definite quality to its 'sound'!

No offense intended, but I think that's silly!
Why shouldn't a publically posted item for sale be questioned? Don't you think it's better to have all the questions asked/answered publically so potential buyers are aware of what they're getting?
I never thought of DH's for sale/trade board as being a place where people could try and rip-off/screw/harsh members for profit, I always just thought of it as a great place for people to unload/pick-up used stuff....and I will ALWAYS question a deal I think is questionable.
If that's a problem, please reban me again.

if u think the price is high, don't buy it, thats as simple as it gets. and if u want to let the person selling the item know its high PM the person and not in the thread.
thread crapping is when u down the person's thread for various reasons. Price, quality, the person themselves, ect.

Fine if that's how you choose to do it, I prefer to post it up in the thread and let the seller address the issue publically.

IS there something in the water lately?
Everyone calm down, if anyone is interested in the card then let the sale continue.
Questions on prices or the goods in question, can be dealt with in the thread or private message, thats the whole point of the thread in the first place. it also helps other people see information to that point if they are also interested in the goods.
