I look at it this way Clint.
At the moment, I loathe the entire FPS genre. Seems to me that
95% of all new games that come out are some kind of mindless, repetitive
shooting game. IMHO, this genre is currently stifling the game industry.
Will people get tired of shooting each other, and finally the other, more varied
genres of game make a comeback?
The first part of that question is the toughest.
Also, I downloaded that Valve Carpet SteamMachine or wtf ever it was...and
it had the shortest carreer on my HDD of almost any program I have ever downloaded.
I won't miss it. And if by some strange phenomenon, this finally released game, with what
appears to be some kind of hybrid nerd/in-bred crew-cut guy as the protagonist and your player
character turns out to be a must have, it will be in the bargain bin at the local gamestore within
3-5 months after release.
ATM, I really don't want this voucher in my house.
As an aside, it might have been better if ATI had included a voucher or better yet a discount
to a core chip liquid or vapor cooling system.
I had an extra Vantec 80mm Tornado (85CFM) lying around, so I strapped yet another
massive wind turbine to my 9800 XT. This card, now has roughly 260CFM of air blowing on it
every second, in a house that is air-conditioned to an average temp of 50 F.
It will still only hit a stable 443 core O'clock using 2-3 well known benchmarks.
I know the 0.15 micron is about at the end of it's capabilities, but...
Now what were we talking about? Oh yes....a game I don't care in the least about, and a grand
sum of $15.
Anyway, I sold it on another forum, to a guy who happens to live about 25 miles from my house
for the gand total of $20.
Check's (Money Order) is supposedly in the mail.
