Well I sent in my Asus P5K Deluxe for an RMA, and sure enough they couldn't fix it either so I have a brand spankin new board from Asus if anyone is interested in it.

Asking for $185USD shipped - will negotiate as well.

Does that board have the same RAM problems innate to the ASUS P5N-E Sli? I've found several others using the same board I'm using that can't seem to use the 'black' slots on this one. If you check the ASUS forums, there are many, many posts re: this issue.

0 ram problems on this board, I have both the deluxe and premium and I only ever used 4GB of RAM in it

Overclocks quite well too, doesnt take much to get a quad stable either.
