Klipsch Promedia Decoder / Audigy Platinum -- no surround

I bought the new Klipsch DD/DTS/DPL Decoder to "complete" my Klipsch 5.1 set. The first day I got it, I instantly tried it out by simply hooking up my computer to it. Each speaker tested fine, and I don't remember (since its been awhile) but I think I got Dolby Digital to work in WinDVD... I messed around with a bunch of the audio options (which actually I wasn't overly impressed with the outcome) while playing Blade 2. So the next day I decided I had to re-arrange my speaker setup since I was going to use the Decoder along with my TiVo/Xbox/PS2 and etc. I hooked everything up to the unit and I went to go test my new speaker arrangement -- all I could get is two speaker output, though the Decoder does have a redundant Prologic mode which allows it pan or whatever to all the speakers.

I spent a couple hours trying everything; resetting the decoder, checking KX settings, making sure the connections were good, I even whipped out my only optical SPDIF cable and tried it. Only RIGHT & LEFT play now for some reason?! I was using 3026 drivers (the "Defective" build actually) and I upgraded to 3026 RC2 I believe, with no success. Now all the way up to 3028 and no luck. I've since then reinstalled Win2k (for other reasons) and still have the same problem.

Any suggestions? The Creative drivers still won't work (conflict/corrupt/random error) for me as of SP3 and all their stupid patches. I use KX because they simply work and accompany my system quite nicely. Thank you guys for all your hard work and continued effort to provide a quality product, unlike Creative!

May I request one simple thing? Can you please tell me model number (it is written in upper right corner of your card)? It is CTxxxx or SBxxxx... Can you?

Thanks for the info
You will need to wait some developer to answer this, because I don't have enough knowledge to tell you the solution for this problem, but, I asked this since you are on of people whose card is detected as Generic10kX, and I want to add support for all cards... your card will be detected as SB0090 from now on (hopefully).
Thanks again for your help.

in order to get 5.1 output it is required:
1. either to connect the speakers via 3x2 analog cables
2. or use 'digital output mode' and connect 3 digital cables

using SPDIF (optical, coaxial...) output will give you only _one_ stereo pair

try resetting kX settings and don't forget to use one of the two ways of connection
there should be no additional tweaking required
