restoring after hiberbation
I have SB Live 5.1 and KX drivers 5.10.00.3534 on Windows XP SP2. Everything works fine until I shutdown PC using "Hibernate". When I start computer after it was shut down with hibernation, there is no sound at all. All applications that should produce sounds doesn't do that. Is there anuy solution?

Have you had a Creative driver installed before on that Windows installation? Just maybe there could be something left that interfers. Though I'm running with 3538g I don't remember having such issues with hibernation before either with my SB Live.

Yes, I had.
It is a first time I installed kX driver. When it was downloaded, I've tryed to set it up immidiately without uninstalling Creative drivers. I've failed to do it, software installed, but there was no device "kX 101k Audio" in device manager. After that I've uninstalled Creative drivers and re-installed kX. Then everything became fine. How can I check on leftovers of Creative drivers? |

Try using the DriverCleaner software from this website to clean out Creative files.
