Serious Problem - Drive Access Fails

This is a problem that occured right after i installed the kX drivers. Now i can't access either CD-Roms, ZIP-drive or anything. I tried using ISOBuster to access the CD-Rom drive and that worked, i could extract the files, but in explorer i only get the "Insert disc into drive" popup.

This is a serious matter since i use zipdrive for storing work related material. And if i can't access my zip-drive i have to uninstall the kX drivers (Which really hurts - because imo the sound is much better with the kX drivers than with the creative ones, and the kX drivers are much more well done than the Creative ones...)

Has anybody got a solution to this problem?

edit:
I have confirmed this problem lies in the kX Project drivers. After uninstalling the kX drivers and reinstalling Creatives drivers for the Audigy 2 card everything works as it's supposed to.

I have got a Creative Audigy soundcard running on a P3@733mhz with 1gb of ram and Windows XP Pre-SP1. Connected is also a Creative DVD 6x, LG 52x CDRW, and a Iomega ZIP100 drive. All 3 of these failed to operate properly with the kX Project drivers installed.

If i can help you research this matter in any way, feel free to contact me on MSN, my address is in my profile.

Best regards,
Christopher
