Memory problems with kX?

I've installed kX this past weekend.
All seems to be fine except once in a while my system will give me that blue page where it wants to dump the physical memory to disk.

Every time it does that is when I am downloading files.
Either from a P2P soft or from an FTP site or directly from an HTTP site.
But it is not consistent. I could go on and D/L without a glitch and then it happens.

I cannot pinpoint a specific event for it to happen. It seems to be random.
My feel is that it has to be related with the memory or disk access.

Is there anyway I can monitor my system behavior so I can see what is happeneing when this happens?
The event log doesn't tell me much. This is what I got from the last error:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000d1 (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195].

I'm not saying it is related to kX but it started to happen after kX got installed. Hard not to make a relation here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

try removing kX and use the computer normally to see if it happens again

but it sounds to me like it could be your p2p program, they are resource hogs

also check out memtest86+ you could have faulty ram

I was using these P2P programs before and it never happened prior intalling kX.
Besides, it happened also when I was D/L directly from the internet thru IE.

Still, I'll check this soft, memtest86+, and see if it finds something bad.

Next would be to uninstall kX and see if it happens again, as you mentionned.

I'll keep you informed of the results.

After further testing and searching I sort of figured that I had installed kX over the Creative drivers and that they were stil in my machine and probably interferring with kX.
I uninstalled everything and reinstalled kX only.

As of now (almost 24 hrs) all seems to be working fine and no more blue pages happening.

I'll be back if there are other problems.
