installation failed
I have a AUDIGY LS and : winxp, athlon2400XP, 512MRAM
when I run the automatic setup prgm, everything seems ok from begining to end of the procedure including the restart of the computer but : KX driver or any other prgm are not installed. The soundcard seems to be driven by creative SB driver. I ve tried to run the : AUREAL A2D install prgm but nothing happens. I don t really want to proceed a manual installation but who knows. I did not un install the creative driver first because you don t indicate to do that thanx for any help Oliv |

AUDIGY LS is based on dsp : CA-0106 which is a later version of the ... l’Emu10k1 , so why doesn t it work with KX ?

Afaik the CA... is not a real DSP, but a preset custom chip that has nothing to do with EMU10kX, so...
 . |
