No sound with kx drivers

I've been using the kx drivers for quite a long time and I'm really grateful for them (since kx asio is so good). Today i formatted my hd and reinstalled winxp with service pack 2. Now the drivers don't seem to work. After installing them and rebooting all I hear is about half of the windows startup sound, then there's no more sound.

I tried these versions: 3537, 3536, 3534 and even the 3538a. Creative's drivers works (but they are crap compared to the greatness that is kx drivers ). So, does anyone know what the problem might be?

Here are my specs if they are relevant somehow:
Windows XP SP2
Soundblaste Live! (the "value" version, I think... Don't know)
AMD Athlon 1800
512 MB Ram
Epox mobo with VIA-chipset

Thanks alot for developing the kx-drivers!

System Specs

have you enabled the swap front/rear option? this may be your problem, also in the windows control panel make sure that the speaker setting is 5.1, same for the kX surrounder
