WindowsXP startup kxmixer.exe crashes (3537)

Hi all. I have installed the latest kx package of version 3537. Great stuff I must say. However....everytime when I reboot the pc and after hearing the windows startup sound, I get a white window stating that kxmixer.exe has crashed and must be ended. When I then manually start kxmixer.exe it works, but, I lost the settings. Then when I reload the preset, its working normally again. Does anyone have some kind of idea what is happening here because I really can't figure it out. Thanks for the help guys.

Forgot to mention that I have an SB Audigy 1, amd athlon 2200+ and 1024mb ram and I have an mainboard with VIA chipset for wich I have installed the latest VIA 4-in-1 driverset.
