This might be a bug of asio input module or...
I am using a CT4670 with 3550 driver installed
Theoretically,the asio input module should be mapped like this right? Asio_0 >>>> kx_in_00 Asio_1 >>>> kx_in_01 Asio_2 >>>> kx_in_02 Asio_3 >>>> kx_in_03 Asio_4 >>>> kx_in_04 Asio_5 >>>> kx_in_05 Asio_6 >>>> kx_in_06 Asio_7 >>>> kx_in_07 Asio_8 >>>> kx_in_08 Asio_9 >>>> kx_in_09 Asio_10 >>>> kx_in_10 Asio_11 >>>> kx_in_11 Asio_12 >>>> kx_in_12 Asio_13 >>>> kx_in_13 Asio_14 >>>> kx_in_14 Asio_15 >>>> kx_in_15 However,after some experiments and tests I found it's virtually mapped like this: Asio_0 >>>> kx_in_02 Asio_1 >>>> N/A Asio_2 >>>> N/A Asio_3 >>>> kx_in_05 Asio_4 >>>> kx_in_06 Asio_5 >>>> kx_in_07 Asio_6 >>>> kx_in_08 Asio_7 >>>> kx_in_09 Asio_8 >>>> kx_in_10 Asio_9 >>>> kx_in_11 Asio_10 >>>> kx_in_12 Asio_11 >>>> kx_in_13 Asio_12 >>>> kx_in_14 Asio_13 >>>> kx_in_15 Asio_14 >>>> kx_in_00 Asio_15 >>>> kx_in_01 N/A means no input signal at all. Is this a bug or my sound card has some problem? |

That is a known issue with Live! 5.1 models... I do not think it should be like that with your card.
What DSP config are you testing with? I am guessing that you are using the ProFX:ASIO plugin (if so, what version of ProFX?), try testing using epilog. |

Yes,I am using the ProFx:ASIO plugin, the version is 1.1 created date :11/06/2003, Copyriht LeMury. I prefer FXBus & Src as source,Asio & K1lt as terminals which looks more straightforward. Is there any solution for this issue? |

With Live! 5.1 cards there is not much that you can do about it, but again, I do no think that it should be an issue with your card, so maybe it is a bug with the (old) version of ProFX(?).
Again, you can check this by testing with epilog (see if you have access to all 16 ASIO inputs, etc). If you are using the 32 bit version of kX, then I would suggest using the latest version of ProFX: NEW: ProFx (3538) Update Incl. MX6 and AC97 Last edited by Russ; Oct 6, 2009 at 06:59 AM. Yes, that's what I meant, drier on my equiptments comparing to 3545,I assume some parameteres have been altered...but it's not a problem anyway, people use different cables or speakers hear different sound...
I tried epilog this morning and all 16 channels work perfectly. I've been using KX for more than 3 years thank you guys so much. |
