3545 does something funky with surround/stereo.

Hey.

"specs":
Old SB Live! card (CT4760)
Stereo Headphones
Win XP SP3

So, with 3545 i get what sounds like the audio for a "front" set of speakers in my right ear, and the "back" in my left. I've only noticed this in games(BF Heroes, WoW). All other audio works fine.
I've managed to temporarily fix this in WoW by turning down all audio-options to their bare minimum.

In Multimedia Properties->Speaker Settings->Advanced-> Speakers->Speaker Setup i have set it to desktop speakers.

In Kx Mixer->Speaker Setup I've set the Speaker Mode to 2.1 and Surround to off.

Not sure if this is the problem but I believe that the windows properties should be set to 5.1 surround, and the KX mixer set to match your speakers (in your case 2.1 with no sub) but surround on. Then test with the KX speaker test.

So check your windows settings first.

one thing to note is that some games will read your windows sound settings and generate content that way - you may need to drop that back to 2.0 for sound to work correctly

Ok, seems to be working now. A bit counter-intuitive to have to set things up for sorround to be able to hear proper stereo though.

set u r gaming audio to windows default or edit u r config file of any game and set to 5.1 or u r desire one am sure it ill solve u r s

else get a proper driver for u r card that comes with an external soft where u can set u r speaker configuration ..am not sure of some web id but ill surely mail u if i use to come over
