Kx drivers works fine, apart from I cannot get a small program to work.

There is no sound when it runs. It works fine on my sister's Dell PC (SB 10k1 chip, Dell driver, XP SP3).

Normal: Broken features / loss of functions.

Enhancement: Request for new feature or enhancement.

This is only a simple small program, but it is the best out there (better than most if not all expensive paid Metronome software). I'm not sure what the problem is, but seems a driver issue.

It does not appear to be a bug... It uses MIDI... which is likely trying to use kX Synths (as the default windows MIDI port) with out first loading a soundfont.
Get a General MIDI soundfont set (download one, or find one on your CL driver install disk) - and load it in the kX mixer Soundfont page.
Use caution, the soundfont file needs to have the percussion channel (MIDI CH.10) properly programmed.

kX Does not get distributed with any soundfonts, nor does it try to load any by default.
