At first: Sorry, if there was a thread about htis already, I didn't find it to be honest.


So here's my problem:
My microphone doesn't work since I switched to Kx Project and because I use SKYPE instead of phoning mostly I kinda dislike it.
When I used the driver originally developed by CREATIVE I had no problems with the microphone but with the "What you hear"-Thing itself (a strange noise with almost every tool I use/d). So I got Kx and sound works perfectly, but I can't be heard in Skype or Teamspeak eventhough I have the right settings etc.
I also am not able to record with any tool (Audacity and another one), so it must be something with the drivers or my soundcard, but I checked my microphone on 2 other PCs and my soundcard is alright aswell, do you have any solution to this problem?

OK, now through my speakers I hear what I say, but I cant record it through Audacity and people and Skype hear it neither

Alternatively - you can be a beta tester for my little tutorial - its not been verified or edited - so.... maybe it would be better to get feedback from more experience users first ?? - you choice - but it may still explain some SKYPE settings (that I show specifically) ??
