Speaker test and VU meters

I just noticed that the speaker test wont register any levels in any VU meters (kX default 'peak' or ProFX ones)
Is it just me?

No, it does show it, it is just that it is a quick spike. Try setting a ProFx:Peak plugin to 'Slow' and you will see it more clearly.

<edit>
If you are talking about the test that plays all the speakers, the problem there is that it seems to freeze the display (in kX), and that is why we see no movement (until it has finished, and then you may see the tail end of it).

i.e.
You will no see movement in ADC (when it has a signal) either, during the test.

<edit2>
Actually, I guess it does the same thing with the individual speaker test, so we can only see the tail end of it there as well. At the time the cursor changes to an hour glass (during the tests), it seems to prevent any user interaction with kX, and the display (in kX only) sort of locks up.

Yes - thats it. I was trying to test some speakers and wanted to 'see' as well as hear the surround separation when I noticed this.

Thanks for confirming...
