Maddogg6 will become famous soon enough

Info plugin renamed too long makes kXMixer crash

Yeah - I just renamed the 'info' plugin - to something pretty long - and it caused kX mixer to crash. So I think the # of characters needs to be limited to prevent this.

Just to confirm, it seems that anything over 63 character seems to cause kX mixer to crash.

BTW: I tested with some other plugins and it did not crash with those plugins, so it might be something specific to the Info plugin.

This bug has not been fixed yet (as of 3541).

I did some more testing and it does happen with other plugins as well, only it seems to take more characters to make it crash with some other plugins.

Also worth noting: The length of the string (when renaming plugins) is not limited by any specific number of characters (as it probably should be), but rather how many characters fit in the Rename edit box.
i.e.
It will only accept 35 "W"'s (capital "W"), but it will accept 212 "l"'s (small "L").

Also, after a certain number of characters, the copyright string seems to get appended to the name string (which causes some GUI glitches)....
