Version 3530 and Directx9

Has any one using Directx9 and the new driver version 3530 had any problems??

I installed the new driver version 3530 on my Windows xp pro 1 gig celeron processor using sound blaster live card while running directx 8.1 with no problems.

I updated directx to direct x9 and all seemed to go well until I restarted the system and had no sound at all.

I reinstalled the drivers and again all was well until I restarted the computer and again no sound until the drivers were re installed.

I have gane back to version 3528 which seems to work with directx9.

I would be interested to hear from anyone with similar problems and maybe even a solution.

I'm using Win XP Pro with Service Pack 1 + kx 3530 + directx 9 with no problems. I didn't experience the problems you described. Have you tried re-installing 3530?

I have tried installing and re installing many times.

Still cannot get 3530 to run on my computer have reverted back to 3528 which runs fine!!

Any ideas it's really frustrating!!

Hehe. If it works on 3528 I would wait for the next release or the release after that!

I'm running win2ksp3 with DirectX9 and have not experience your problem. However, I have found that if I manage to hang the kx driver up, stoping or unloading does not clear the problem. The problem usually cleared by right clicking on the main panel to bring up the settings:

Select settings > reset settings
