Sad porr recording quality in Sonar

I am getting a gittering affect when recording in Sonar, I just tried recording my voice. But I record my voice in microsoft sound recorder it records fine.
And When I record my drum machine in sonar the speed of the recording is slightly slower and that gittering recording quality as well.

I just installed the KX project drivers to be able to record decently on my computer because I was having the same problems with the soundblaster drivers. Theres a big improvement with the KX drivers when I recorded in the microsoft sound recorder. With the original drivers I couldnt record any thing with out the gittering affect distortion pops and crackles.

Someone please help me.
I am using a soundblaster live platnum 5.1
a computer with the following
OS win XP professional
CPU AMD Athlon XP 1.67 GHZ
Motherboard ABIT KX7-33
Memory 512 DDR
graphic card AGP xtasy by visiontek using a Nvida gforce chip

I fixed it, I Had Sonar look over the card and set the Ideal settings and that took care of the problems. Thanks
