I encounter static in the game while using these drivers. I do like these drivers I must say though, for they fixed the crashing issue in the game that was related to the Creative Labs drivers.

Thought I should pop in and say that I have experienced the same phenomenon, but on my EMU APS. I didn't think it was the driver, though... It sounds more like a dry condensator or something, but who knows?
