AMD is better than P4's at gaming, not P-M's. And no its not dual-core. My memory doesn't work well with my intel chipset, that is why my FSB is so low.

ahhh so im guessing compaireing your cpu speed and single core to my cpu under 2.7 running single core in this 2001se then yes your will be a lot better.
wait untill my dual core functionaly starts working lol at the moment its working in single core only and i dont think we will ever see a 2003 dual core optimized version in the future probably 3dmarks 2006 Pro
post your benchs with 2003 and 2005 and sandra please

Virus, his CPU is ONLY good in games. It's a P3 in disguise and you ass wipe him the moment you get dual core used and such. Why run sandra when u beat him? You DO have the stronger system....

Sandra i am on par with an FX-57 is almost every thing. my cpu isn't ONLY good in games, it is on par with single-core A64's for almost everything. An X2 would work me over in any multi-threaded stuff though. Last time i ran Aquamark i scored a 91K, although i know i can do higher, I suspect a 93-94K.

In single threaded you are king true. But multitasking is where the X2 wins. Even a normal P4 at 2.8GHZ is way faster.
But good proc none the less.

hmm i only get 87k in aqua mark LOL
you beat me in that aswell AHHHHHHHHHHH lol
but im still only useing 50% of my combined cores useage.....
but under sandra its multithreaded and dualcore compatible and i score nearly twice what the fx57 gets LOL
i guess you win at single threaded but i blowyou away at multitasking and when dual core gets optimized in the X1800XT i will assblast you lol :P

We shall see. Depends on big the boost will be for dual core. I just hope he still wins just so that it annoys you

Is the low 3DMark 2001 score for a lot of people something to with the program itself...I'm thinking so.
My roommate's system here, I just stuck a 6800 GS in it and it gets like only 19K in 3DMark 2001 (a friend of mine has a pretty identical system except more and faster ram, a 64 2800 instead of a 64 3000, and a 9800 Pro 128) and HE gets 18500 in 3DMark. Of course, my roomie gets about 6K more marks than my friend in 03.
My own dual X1800XTs do a similar thing...I only get like 24K in 3DMark 2001, but I get closer to that in 03 as well. I haven't bothered to run 05 and 06 yet, on this system...I use these benchmarks more to see if the comp is running properly than anything else.

There is no way in hell i will win now. Sold the Pentium M. As i got bored with it . I recently purchased a LGA775 630, an Asus P5PLD2 mobo, 2 GB of Corsair PC2-4200, and another X850XT. So unless I can OC the crap out of it, there is no way i'll be staying in the game.
I bet I'll be scoring below 80K in aquamark, and likely below 30 in 3d01
btw here was my latest 3Dmark01 score 35984 I could of broken 36, if i tried.
