It would help if you'd post some details about the card's configuration and driver version.
The figures you post are pretty nice but I'm at a loss to explain them when I compare to my results.
The max I ever got was 12164.
This is with 3DMark2001Se build 330 at default settings.
All AntiVirus/AntiTrojan programs disabled.
Asus GeForce4 V8460 Ultra Deluxe (Ti4600, 128MB) on a Viewsonic P95F 19" (140Hz at the test's 1024x768x32).
Reference Detonator drivers 40.41.
WinXP SP1, 2.4G P4, 400FSB, 1G 40ns Kingston PC800 RDRAM, CreativeLabs Extigy, etc.
Card settings of interest (the rest at defaults):
3D Antialising: Allow apps to control.
Direct3D: Vertical Sync = off, anisotropic filter at 0.
OpenGL: VerticalSync = off, anisotropic filter disabled
AGP rate = 4X, SideBand addressing enabled, Enable Fast Writes, aperture = 64MB.
Clock frequency boosted to 310/690.
A big slowdown I saw was with anisotropic set to 2x. It went down by around 2000 points.
Also the antivirus programs seem to waste around 500 points.
Any ideas for improvement?
Thanks in advance.

So essentially a Ti4200 can perform at the speed of a Ti4600? You guys are overclocking the cards, correct? Or are you running them at default.
It would be interesting to see a comparison between the two.
