A friend of mine has this system: PentiumV 2.4 Ghz (533FSB)
512MB DDR-ram (pc2700)
Leadtek geforce 4 ti4200 vivo
WinXP
Driver 43.??

And his score in 3dmark2001SE with patch 330 on it is 87xx
is this a low or a normal score???

Nvidia is all about "The way we want you to play it" they cut a a few unneeded thing like special effects bullets etc..... you'll never realize all the stuff you been missing from you games that nvida felt you dint need to see... till you run it on an ati .... the ati shows the stuff and still beats the 5900 pro with out cheating...

-since there is no anti cheat build of 2001se subtract the 30% driver optimizations
then you'll see your probubly hitting about 11,900 in "real life"

Used to hit 13,000 on my 4200ti before i upgraded....that’s about were that card tops put
try the new 45.33 drivers available in the DH driver section ...

On a Celeron (tualitin) 1.3 @ 1.55 512mb sdram (cl2) Ti4200 128mb i get 8509 so that is low

i'm gettin 10,687 with my old system which is P4 1515Mhz 512MB PC2100 DDR RAM, 80GB ST, SB Live, Radeon 8500 128MB( Sapphire ) etc.
