i had a chance to test both of these cards

Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro 128 M Price: 499 $ CAN
Asus FX 5900 Ultra 256 M Price: 699 $ CAN

Pc config:
Mobo: Asus P4PE
Cpu: 3.06 Ghz Pentium 4 Intel with HTT 533 fsb
Memory: 1 G pc2700 ddr 333
Video: Asus 5900 Ultra 256 M/Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro 128 M
Sound: SB Audigy 1

Test config:
Both video cards runs at stock speeds, nothing is overclocked, everything is stock!

3d mark 01/03 settings:
DEFAULT 1024 x 768 x 32 no AA no AF
3d mark 2003 with latest patch

Drivers:
Radeon : CAT 3.6
FX 5900 Ultra: 44.03

i would goe for the tti based on those screenshot scores.bit of a difference in the scores.
