rolleyes how do i view avi files?

well i tried downloading some avi files and it keeps opening it with winamp 5 but it wont show it so i tried with quicktime and windows media player and they still dont work ;/ is there any codek i can download to make them work>?<

You probably have a divx or xvid encoded video file. Using this codec will pretty much let you play any encodie movie.

this is gspot tool .... it will tell you what codecs a video file needs to play

System Specs

Try going to www.divx.com and d/l the free divx coden and player. This is especially good if you have an ATI card 9500 or above. The divx player supports ATI's video enhancements.
