Pissed Changing MIDI drums in Cubase

I am having some difficulty changing drum sounds in Cubase SX (3 I think). The devices that are obviously percussion work when I use the key editor but don't produce cool sounds. When using the drum map I cannot figure out how to change the sound from the standard cheesy Cubase drums.

Re: Changing MIDI drums in Cubase

install ezdrummer, battery, or any other kind of VST instrument plugin that is supposed to play drums... then load the VST instrument, and reroute the output from the MIDI channel to the VST instrument...
