SB Audigy MP3+

Installation of KX went well, but .... no sound! ..... when I click on test I get "failed to create sound"
Device manager shows Creative SB Audigy device working properly with Eugene Gavrilov as driver provider ... but shows a yellow ? for other devices(Multimedia audio controller)
It appears that on set up KX is picking up the wrong PCI ID ...... I could install the driver manually to the Multimedia audio controller in device manager but THE KX.INF HAS NO DRIVER INFO IN IT ...... all it contains is:

The Audigy mp3+ is not a kX compatible device, so check the compatibility-list on www.kxproject.com
