Need Help With Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic Sound Card
Is there a solution to allow use of the front audio panel on my PC with this sound card? If you are not already aware, this sound card has no front audio pin header, hindering the user from conveniently using the front audio panel.

Hi
XtremeMusic:
Aren't there any suitable analog out signal pins on Proprietary connector (the black 10 pin connector beside AUX_IN)?

that looks like the J1 connector, usually white on the Audigy 1/2 series
check the AD_EXT pinout thread for a description of the pinout and how to use it (it's within the first 100 posts of that thread)
I myself have done this once, using the old style CD_AUDIO cables with two types of plugs on one end, but i didn't redo it after i swapped my case (laziness really, and that i didn't use the front panel much)
EDIT: btw is it just more or does creative keep reducing the amount of SPDIF inputs on their cards?
Live/Audigy - 3
Audigy 2 - 2
X-Fi - 1

So he was/was he talking 'bout connecting the Creative I/O Drive !/?
BTW: Aren't the present DVD/CD-ROMs capable for cable-free audio (Digital CD Audio) --> no need for CD_SPDIF input, like it used before?

no, the J1 connector is the 10pin one on the top left of the card, that's the one with the analogue I/O
and as for the SPDIF inputs, i'm just used to my multicard system, with cards interlinked and all
