Check your connections and verify it's not your speaker.

What are your speakers? If they are Logitech, try using the Matrix button.

Default Post

my speakers are Inspire 5300 analog ....the cpl is set to 5.1 and everything is connected properly.I switched some cables to see if the problem is not from the speakers, but everything is fine ...The thing that wories me is the jack for the center speaker ..If it is broken i have to buy a new set of speakers

I had a similar problem, and it was basically caused by the fact that I installed all my drivers and software back when I had a 2.0 setup, so even if I told the Creative software and Windows Control Panel that I had a 5.1 setup, it still stubbornly insisted I had 2.0 (it said 5.1 on the Control Panel,. but I could tell it was not)!
But clearing off all Creative software and drivers, running DriverCleaner and making sure everything was truely gone, and then reinstalling YouP-PAX telling it I had 5.1, solved it.

But this was on an Audigy2 ZS so...

if you don't get it working via the software, clean everything out again and then remove the card from device manager, then shutdown and move it to another pci slot and see if that helps.
