Tips how to installed New creative_youppaxfi231

Here what I did:
1. Uninstalled by using any old pax Uninstalled driver
2. Go to safe mode by pressing F5
3. Run Driver heaven cleaner pro.
3. Restarted
4. Restarted again press F5
5. Go Back to Safe Mode then installed Audigy 4 Pro Cd
6. Restart then Restart again.
7. Then installed the drivers in Admin Safe Mode
8. Make sure you don't select Full Chose Custom unchose Creative Console and Windows Drivers.
9. Then Installed. Then Restarted again.
10. Defrag and enjoy.
Here what I get by turning Audigy 2 back in Audigy 4

There you there proof how do it my way. If you have trouble doing in windows mode do in Safe mode it's best way get around it

I have the youppaxfi231 driver file but what other files do i need to install this driver correctly?
-edit - So all i need to do is uninstall current driver. Run DriverCleaner. Install youppaxfi231. Then Install the audigy 4 cd? I have the iso and daemon tools. Unchecked what you said and I'm all set?

so do i need the a4iso patch? the 2files in there are spkset & surmixer. So with the 231 set, i dont need the patch right?

i didnt install the audigy 4 software first and have the paxfi drivers installed

You need to installed Audigy 4 software first to get EQ and EAX working. If not you have have to have to reformated then redo all installes for it.

Well did you check your dxdiag? if said 10/29/2005 on it? Then your updated Some cards it might not read audigy 4 it may read what your card said along if updated to dated as 10/29/05 then your fine. If you can reslove this issue please visted support forum

i have eax and eq working without he audigy 4 software
