Hi, guys
I´ve just set a new machine (PIV, 3 Ghz, 1 Gb ram, Intel mobo, XP, Sonar IV, Audigy) but Sonar doesn´t always play any audio. Also, when it plays audio, I get high latency with DXi Synths (I have Battery and Absynth) Does any body have some clue I´m missing ? Thanks a lot! Eugenio |

you need ASIO drivers for lower latency

Hello, dj_stick,
So I should set Asio in Options/Audio/Advanced, right ? And how about the other settings in this dialog ? Anything you would suggest ? Thank you for your help !!! Eugenio

if your card does support ASIO then yes
then set your latency in the ASIO control panel to 10 or 20 ms to check it if works fine if you have no trouble, reduce it to 5, if that has no audible pops or clicks then you should be right i'm not sure if all audigy cards support asio, if not you have the option of downloading ASIO4ALL or swapping to the kX drivers in terms of ASIO performace, afaik kX>ASIO4ALL
