SB LIVE! Platinum with PAX2005NewYear or Modified Audigy 4 Pro?

Hi @All,

well my first post, so i gonna make it short:

I´ve got an SB Live! Platinum and i allready dowloaded the YouP PAX VI 2.2.
Now i am not shure, which software version i should use, the PAX2005NewYear
or the new Modified Audigy 4 Pro.

Can please somebody help me?

,well if you are saying that it will function on my SB LIVE! Platinum with the Audigy4 Stuff, well then all i have to say is: Cool!

And the last thing i have to say: THANKS!!!

Just forgot to ask, if i need [color=#0000ff]Creative Audigy 4 Pro update version 3.00.55[/color] since i have a platinum. Or is it not important because i have a LIVE! and not a Audigy?

No, you don't. SB Live! Platinum does not have a remote device, or you have Creative IR CD-ROM that is supported by [color=#0000ff]Creative Audigy 4 Pro update version 3.00.55[/color].

Cool!
I choosed the AUDIGY4 PRO ISO with the YouP PAX VI 2.2 and:
I got it running! THX Console, Mixer, Speaker Settings, Diagnostics, EAX Console: Everything! And that all on my good old SB LIVE! Platinum. THANKS! The Card is allready 6 Years old and it looks like she is alive again!

Got some Questions about my Install:

In my Device Manager is written that i got a CREATIVE SB LIVE! VALUE and the version of my Driver is 5.12.2.445 and dated 24.09.2004.
Is this right or did i changed the Driver when i installed the Live!Software from YouP to the Original Creative Driver?

And on the Media Player it shows SOUNDBLASTER LIVE! [C000]. Is that right?

Can i use the PAX A4 1.2 also on my SB LIVE! or is it just for Audigy2 Hardware?

Well Guys, You do a pretty Job. THANKS AGAIN!
If i got some Time, i will post a Guide how to Install a SB LIVE! with the Pack and Driver
(i can do it in German too)
