Should I install the DRM update for Audigy 1?
At Creative's website, they have a DRM update for my Audigy1. Is there any good reason to actually install this update? I don't wish to cause myself any uneeded limitations to my system, so I'm wondering if installing that update is a good idea or not. Will it help anything or just hinder me?
Any real info about what that update does would be helpful.

I just want to know what that DRM update is all about. What new "powers" does it give me?
What "old powers" does it take away? ![]() Why would I want it....or not want it? I don't like installing hacked drivers, official drivers have ALWAYS worked well for my purposes. I never had a problem, therefore I never NEEDED to install any hacked drivers. I've always found that hacked drivers result in more problems than they do benefits (for me ), so I don't use them.No offense to those who DO run 'em. I'm just not into it. Just wanna know 'bout dat DRM update deal......
