Can't find drivers for my sound card (SB LIVE! CT4830).

I have a Creative Sound Blaster Live! sound card with the following model number: CT4830. The problem is that I can't download a new driver for it. The Creative website has the driver listed for download, but the download link doesn't work. Here is the link to the download page. I've searched on Google, and it seems as if this is the only mirror that has the driver. Does anyone have the driver on their hard drive, or can anyone please tell me where else I can look for the driver. I have serious sound issues while playing some games and would like to resolve this problem. Thanks.

Instead of trying to find model number specific drivers (not really necessary), just go to the Creative download page and download the drivers for the SBLive Value (what your card is). When I had mine (same model number as yours), that is all I did. The download has the drivers as well the applications for the card.

sp20920.exe and sp22563.exe are both avilable on line... use a search program like yahoo or msn's search sp20920.exe is 377 meg and sp22563.exe is 155 meg

Why don't you try the latest X-Fi driver or A4 ISO disk? You can find in sticky post of this forum. It also support Live! I think Live! value could work! Or Pax driver !

CT 4830 is an OEM card: "Sound Blaster Live! Value/Player" bundled by Compaq /Intel/IBM/NEc

Try search Compaq support if you can't find those already mentioned exe's.
