SoundBlaster live 5.1 error

Hallo,

When I try to install my SB live 5.1 the operating system XP pro installs the drivers. Then I download the new drivers and try to install them a I get a error

SOUNDBLASTER CARD NOT FOUND

The steps

1. deleted all drivers in save mode
2. place it in a other pci slot
3. disabled the onboard soundcard
4. I have tried to install the SB on a other computer with XP pro and all went fine

Can someone Plz help?

My Mainboard is gigabyte GA-7VRXP (Rev 2.0)

I get the same error message. I downloaded the latest drivers, everything extracts, the setup starts, then it gives me :

"Setup could not detect any Sound Blaster Audio card on your system.
Please ensure that your Sound Blaster HArdware is properly installed before running this Setup Program.
Setup will now exit."

I tried to install the drivers that came with the cd. Those installed fine. But then I tried installing the newest drivers again, and it gives me the same message.

I also tried to put the card on different pci slots. and still no results.

My motherboard is an Intel D915GAV

I had the same problem.
